About Me

Giana and AlessandraHowdy! I am a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie class of 2007. During my undergraduate studies I earned a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and had the opportunity to intern in many Brazos Valley schools. These internships were the foundation of my philosophy of education.

Once I graduated from Texas A&M I moved to Broward County Florida to begin my career in education. I began teaching as an elementary special education teacher in Broward County, Florida. After three years I moved into the role of exceptional student specialist, where I oversaw students in special education or gifted and talented. My time in South Florida continued to shape my philosophy and enriched my understanding of the education system.

After five years of teaching in "paradise" I was ready to move back to my home town and contribute to the school system that shaped me. I am proud to say that I am a product of the College Station Independent School District and am excited to have the opportunity to teach and lead in the area, as well as have my children be students of CSISD. I earned a master's degree in Education Administration from Sam Houston State University in 2014.

In CSISD, I served as a special education teacher at South Knoll Elementary, and as assistant principal at Spring Creek Elementary before my current role of principal at Pebble Creek Elementary.

My family includes my dear husband, Rocco, and precious daughters, Giana and Alessandra.
